Gregory Karn is currently the senior associate-in-charge of two high-rise hotel/residential towers in Manhattan, 123 Washington Street and 400 Fifth Avenue. Prior to that, he oversaw the creation of the Tangeman University Center at the University of Cincinnati.

Other projects Mr. Karn has participated in include master plans for King & Low-Heywood Thomas School in Stamford, Connecticut, and Pitzer College in Claremont, California. He was the project architect for three academic buildings at Pitzer College; the PaceWildenstein Gallery in Beverly Hills, California; and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum Renovation and Addition in New York City.

His corporate experience includes office interiors for Punch Productions, EMI Records Group and SBK Entertainment World, all located in New York City, and the design competition for the Stadtportalhäuser, a complex of office buildings, hotel and museum, in Frankfurt-am-Main, Germany.

Mr. Karn has also been involved in the design of several private residences including apartments in New York City and Columbus, Ohio as well as a house in Taipei, Taiwan. He joined Gwathmey Siegel in 1987 and was named a senior associate in 2002.
