Back to AnnouncementsThis exhibition at the Virginia Center for Architecture features Gwathmey Siegel Kaufman’s United States Mission to the United Nations, the new Richmond courthouse, a series of new U.S. border stations, and a selection of other Design Excellence Program projects. The exhibition illustrates the government’s goal to commission inspiring, contemporary civic architecture that reflects and promotes American ideals. It is augmented by the story of the GSA’s Fine Arts Collection, which has been integral to the program.The exhibit, which was curated by the Virginia Center for Architecture and co-sponsored by the U.S. General Services Administration, runs through May 27. The Center is located in Richmond, Virginia.
